Advertise on Calendar
Advertisement Opportunities!
Local Entrepreneurs!
This is an amazing opportunity to partner with the Wood County Humane Society on a joint and mutually beneficial endeavor. Specifically, I am asking that you consider advertising in the annual photo calendar that we produce as a fundraiser each year. Now in its third year, this fundraiser will reach thousands of individuals both within and beyond our county through promotions that we will do with our volunteers and donors, as well as through Facebook (for which we have over 11,000 followers), Twitter (for which we have over 300 followers), and word-of-mouth among our thousands of donors, members, and supporters.
There are two advertising options available to you.
Option 1: A half banner ad, approximately the size of a standard business card, which would appear on one of the calendar pages and would cost $100.
Option 2: A full banner ad which would appear on one of the calendar pages and would cost $175; the full banner ad would be approximately the size of two standard business cards placed side-by-side. We are only able to accommodate a certain number of advertisements, and we will accept advertising on a first come, first served basis.
This calendar fundraiser will run between mid-January and mid-October 2019, although the sooner you submit your request for space, the more likely it is that your advertisement will be accepted for inclusion. All requests for advertising space, payments, and advertising artwork must be received by October 15, 2019, at 5:00 P.M. EST in order to be included in the 2020 calendar. To reserve your advertising space now, please e-mail me at wchsboardofdirectors@gmail.com.
As you most likely know, Wood County Humane Society is a private, non-profit, managed admission shelter providing care for homeless, abandoned, and abused animals and investigating cruelty complaints in Wood County. The organization receives no funding for its daily operations from The United Way or national humane organizations, instead relying on the generosity of individual volunteers and community partners to fund our programs and to allow us to provide care for hundreds of animals each year until those animals can find their forever homes. Your support of this fundraiser will enable us to continue to bring about the best possible treatment and quality of life for all animals in Wood County for years to come and we hope you will give serious consideration to advertising in our calendar.
If you have any questions about this fundraiser, or, more broadly, our organization, then please do not hesitate to contact me at wchsboardofdirectors@gmail.com. After payment, please email image file to Dr. Heath Diehl at wchsboardofdirectors@gmail.com. Thank you for your time and consideration.
