Private Rehoming

Just like any other shelter, WCHS has a limited capacity and unfortunately cannot take in every animal right at the time of need for surrender. Additionally, animals benefit from never stepping foot in the shelter and instead being adopted straight from their previous homes.
If you didn't find what you were looking for with us please take a look at other available pets in the area:

Home To Home is a nonprofit, community-driven solution to keep pets out of shelters and in loving homes. Whether you're rehoming, adopting, fostering, or partnering as an animal welfare organization, we’re here to guide you every step of the way.

Adopt a Pet is a free pet adoption site. On their site, shelters, rescues, and rehomers can easily list their available pets. And hopeful pet parents can quickly search for the right pet with helpful features like filters, New Pet Alerts, and more.
