Adopting a Pet Improves Their Life and Yours!

Each year, the Wood County Humane Society takes in an average of 500 pets. Most of these pets are stray cats, owner surrenders (cats and dogs), or from cruelty or neglect cases (from fish to horses and everything in between!). On average, there are about 30 animals at the shelter that are available for adoption and awaiting homes; find your new friend today!
